Food service on domestic airlines has drastically modified in recent times.

American Airlines just built a 214,000-square-foot facility at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. It prepares as much as 15,000 meals a day, with the assistance of robots, for greater than 800 flights day by day.

The recent kitchen features more automation to maintain up with demand and to attenuate catering delays because the number of individuals traveling breaks records. Global travel demand is anticipated to double by 2040, in response to the International Air Transport Association.
