7 Ways to Replace Envy with Joy for Friends

Take a while to look back over your life and see where God has brought you, what He’s done and what He’s doing now. If you do that, you will not have time to dwell on what others have. If you do not dwell on what others have, you will not develop feelings of jealousy.

7. Be Honest with Your Friend

If your friendship is robust and has endured hard times, then it is best to find a way to debate your feelings with them freely. If you may’t do that, then how strong is your relationship?

If you continue to end up leaning towards envy when it is time to rejoice someone, remember the next:

-If God blessed your friend with their heart’s desires in accordance with His will and riches, He will do the identical for you.

-What goes around comes around. You don’t desire your feelings of envy to come back back to you.

-Let your joy for others motivate you to realize your goals and receive the blessings God has for you.

-Remove your personal feelings. Don’t make a friend’s excellent news about you. Let them enjoy their moment and rejoice with them.

-Be sure of yourself. No one else is such as you.

-God’s timing is best, and what He has for you is specifically for you. There is not any have to envy what anyone else has.

-You have a distinct load to hold out of your friend. This is why you’ve different blessings and responsibilities from them, and their responsibilities are different from yours.

Honestly, when you consider it, once you rejoice someone’s blessings, you are celebrating God’s goodness. And who doesn’t wish to rejoice the goodness of the Lord? Life is crammed with ups and downs. God places people, friends, in our lives to share each. Don’t damage the blessings which are real friendships since you desire blessings that are not for you. You’ll miss out in your blessings, including good friends.
