Galatians 5 gives us one of the best example of what the fruit of the spirit should look lik”:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
We should show the fruit of the spirit to everyone, not only those near us. For example, when the wai”ress gets our order mistaken, will we complain and send it back, asking for a refund? Or will we keep it in stride, knowing they made a mistake, and act gracefully and gentleness? Do we turn out to be impatient in a very long slow- moving grocery line? Or will we take the time to go searching us and talk with people to hunt opportunities to spread the gospel? Not only are our kids watching what we are saying and do, however the world can also be watching.
The world is crying out for individuals who act like Christ. When we act gentleness, respect, and love toward everyone we meet, even those with whom we disagree, we show the fruits of the spirit. In a world where everyone feels they need to provide their opinion, let’s silently, with our actions, show what it means to be a great friend to others so our children can learn that as let’s
