Having three daughters of various ages, each with their very own unique character, personality and skill set, the emotional energy in our house is high and quite colourful. But do not get me improper. I really like being a “girl mom”. God is slowly working on my heart, giving me a fresh perspective with each recent season. Fortunately, over time, not only have I matured on this role and learned to simply accept it, but I may say that I actually appreciate it.
Still, I even have to confess that I still have loads to learn. Especially when my words fail, my actions don’t at all times show my love for them, creating distance and tension. Sigh. Desiring to have a special bond with them, but knowing that our relationship is inherently fragile, he often encounters a wave of ups and downs.
As I scroll through the infinite photos on my phone and relive the past, I also notice that they’re growing up right before my eyes. When I have a look at my oldest, I realize how quickly time is running out and I’m wondering learn how to use these moments. I find myself asking how can I engrave the reality of their hearts before they leave and leave their mark on this world?
Perhaps you, too, want to stop time and conceal precious truths within the pocket of your daughter’s heart. Oh my friend, you are usually not alone. Maybe together we will tell the reality about our beloved daughters’ hearts, while slowly (and tearfully) releasing them right into a world that desperately needs their shining and radiant light!
So while you’re sitting on her bed at night and he or she desires to spill some tea on her day, share your heart too. When you are traveling within the automobile and he or she’s catching up on her social life, casually meddle with the reality. When you are eating dinner, buying a recent dress, curling her hair, or having a spontaneous moment when she’s receptive and listening let her know and tell her…
1. You are so loved
“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now abide in my love.” – John 15:9
Sweet girl, you’ll enter dark seasons where you’ll be able to forget your price. You may even feel unloved. People will hurt or disappoint you, leaving you used or forgotten. Please know that where people will allow you to down, Jesus won’t ever! His love for you is indescribable; you’ll be able to at all times depend on Him! There’s nothing you’ll be able to do to make Him stop loving you! And just so , the identical is true of me, dear daughter. I’ll at all times love you, irrespective of what.
2. You have a goal
“‘For I do know the plans I even have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and never to harm you, plans to provide you hope and a future.'” – Jeremiah 29:11
Unfortunately, our plans don’t at all times work out. We can pray about them, discuss them ad nauseam, hope and dream about our heart’s desires, but sometimes God doesn’t want that for us. Just keep in mind that God’s plans are at all times higher. They may not make sense and should even cause disappointment or pain, but His will and ways are at all times for our good. Remember that His timing is ideal. His way is ideal and His will for you is what you have to pray for. Let God guide your dreams, hopes and desires and watch what He does!
3. Your decisions matter
“Trust within the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your individual understanding; undergo him in all of your ways, and he’ll make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
Every selection you make (big or small) will affect your life not directly. You select the sport from the chums you permit in your life to sports. Sometimes you’ll make good decisions, and unfortunately there can be times while you won’t. Guilt and shame can be embedded in these decisions. After all, they’ll make you think things that are not true. This is where you have to tune in to acknowledge the pull of the Holy Spirit. Think and stop before you decide. Most importantly, let God lead you on the correct path and trust Him in every decision you make.
4. You will fail… And that is okay
“Do not be afraid, for I’m with you; don’t be afraid, for I’m your God. I’ll strengthen you and provide help to; I’ll uphold you with my right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
It could also be hard to listen to, but you’ll fail and make a multitude. You will make a call that goes against the inspiration laid before you. You will know and feel it, but you’ll be able to still do it. It will break my heart. I could even get indignant or annoyed. But the reality is, you’ll be able to fall and even fail, but that is not where you’ve gotten to remain! You at all times have the selection to rise up and take responsibility in your selection with grace and dignity. The point is, you’ll be able to fail, but you haven’t got to be defeated. Grace, forgiveness and freedom include letting go and giving them back to God.
5. Your beauty will radiate from inside
“Charm is deceptive and wonder is ephemeral; but the girl who fears the Lord is praiseworthy.” Proverbs 31:30
It’s really easy to get caught up in global beauty standards, especially since they’re plastered in all places and simple to seek out by scrolling through your phone. Not to say quickly falling into the comparison trap while you notice pretty girls at college or notice celebrities and their traits, wondering if you happen to can by some means achieve the identical thing. Pinterest may offer tons of knowledge on learn how to enhance your eyes or cleanse your skin, nevertheless it’s not a type of beauty you ought to be chasing after. At some point, it’s never enough, so please don’t fall for it! Beauty is in a woman who takes care of her heart. The one who shows compassion and kindness to others. One that embraces her femininity and modestly respects her body. One that takes care of itself from the within out. You are so beautiful, sweet girl, at all times keep in mind that!
6. You must stand out
“Do not conform to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind. Then you’ll be able to test and prove what God’s will is—His good, acceptable, and ideal will.” Romans 12:2
The world is so loud! Many lies will come over your fragile heart. He will announce things which might be contrary to God and His Word. If you are unsure of what is right and improper, stay informed by engaging in bible study, search out fellowship, and search for mentors who can walk beside you and guide and guide you. You weren’t meant to be a component of this world or conform to its radical ways. Rather, you were made to separate! You were bought at a price, and subsequently you serve a worthy cause. So your life will feel and appear different, and it should. Do not be afraid to face alone or rise up for what’s noble, true, good and righteous. Seek first God and His will; from this let your love for Him radiate as you like others.
