Twitter has suspended the account of the favored AI-based bot linked to memecoins “Explain This Bob” after Elon Musk claimed it was a “fraudulent crypto account”.
Musk alleged the account was a scam in a June 18 tweet in response to the bot, the account was apparently suspended shortly thereafter.

“Explain It to Bob” account. supposedly he amassed over 400,000 followers before being suspended. The bot was created by Prabhu Biswal from India and used the OpenAI GPT-4 model to grasp and reply to the tweets of people that tagged the account.
The project was also linked to the ERC-20 memecoin Bob Token (BOB), which was launched in April 2023. The suspension caused the value of BOB to drop by greater than 30% According to to CoinGecko.
The suspension is a throwback to Musk’s previous impression of the bot, who tweeted “I like Bob” in response to one in every of his April 20 tweets, a tweet that can also be prominently featured on the project’s website website.
