The headset looks like ski goggles
Putting on Vision Pro, you seem like you are about to hit the slopes. Unlike other VR headsets from corporations like Oculus, the Vision Pro projects its users’ eyes outward.
“You’re never isolated from the people around you, you’ll be able to see them and so they can see you,” said Alan Dye, Apple’s vp of product development.
Cook added that the device is “the primary product you take a look at, not take a look at.”
Allows for “spatial calculations”
When the user puts on the device, he sees several apps that interact with the surface world. You can control how much of the 3D interface is visible along with your eyes, hands, and voice.
Apple envisions a future where digital apps and experiences seamlessly integrate with the physical world. Cook calls it “spatial computing.”
Apps akin to video players, photos and FaceTime are only a few of the customizable virtual parts of your reality when wearing Vision Pro.
Vision Pro runs on something called visionOS, the world’s first spatial operating system.
You can enrich your physical environment
The rotation of the Digital Crown on the highest of the device allows users to control how immersed they’re within the environment. For example, you’ll be able to add “dynamic, beautiful landscapes” to your physical world.
The device will not be low cost
The device costs $3,499 and is primarily aimed toward video game developers and app developers fairly than most of the people.
It won’t be this 12 months’s hot Christmas present
Don’t put this in your holiday list. Cook said Vision Pro won’t be available until early next 12 months. Consumers will have the ability to buy it on Apple.com and Apple Stories across the US
There can be integration with Disney
Disney CEO Bob Iger joined Cook to announce Disney’s integration with Vision Pro. At launch, Disney+ can be available for Vision Pro. This signifies that users can watch “The Mandalorian” on a virtual display placed within the virtual world of Star Wars or watch a basketball game in 3D from an isometric perspective.
