On June 3, Hill appeared in an all-black gown with a chunky green cape and angular hair. Parts of her kinky hair stuck straight up and was shaped (or potentially trimmed) right into a wide, high pale with a part of her hair removed to 1 side of the flat top. The top of her hair was very geometric and styled, while the underside hung loose and looked like half of a voluminous afro.

The volume and height of this hair is impressive. It almost looks like a mixture of two very different but popular styles into one, the afro and the hi-top that were in vogue within the 80s and 90s. I would love to know the inspiration for this style and the way it’s made. Maybe she desired to evoke nostalgia along with her appearance?
