I would like you to know that you simply are necessary to me.
In a world stuffed with noise and superficiality, this will likely seem to be one other statement. But it’s not. I mean.
You are necessary to me. And I desired to take the article to be sure you recognize.
When I sit down to write down, I believe of you.
I’m not writing for a faceless crowd to rank high on Google or with a click-bait title just hoping it should drive clicks to your site. I’m writing for you – individuals who have deliberately chosen simplicity and a life that resonates with authenticity and meaning.
You are necessary to me because you are trying to live your best life – similar to me. You need to be a committed parent, a greater friend, a more practical leader, a greater neighbor, or a more committed member of your faith community—passionately lively within the lives of those around you.
You have decided that there are more necessary activities in life than material possessions. So you’re here reading these articles and these ideas since you value quality of life greater than quantity. You encourage me anyway.
You strive to own less to raise your best values. Me too.
You are necessary to me due to the daring steps you’ve gotten taken to embrace a counter-cultural lifestyle, working hard to ward off the culture that surrounds us and begging to get increasingly more.
You are here because you’ve gotten decided that life is simply too precious to be wasted within the pursuit and accumulation of fabric possessions. Why else would you read this blog, if not that you simply dream of something larger and greater.
It matters to me.
And you’re necessary to me.
Please know that I’m working hard to be there for you with messages that encourage, motivate, encourage and challenge all of us – including me – to live conscious lives focused on the things that matter.
I believe a number of times all these messages might be: “I appreciate you since you support my work and permit me to do what I do.” And while that is true, that is not what I’m talking about today.
The point is for me to articulate something I do not say enough: I actually do care about you.
It means so much to me that you simply are a part of this community. It means all of the more that you’ve gotten the courage to indicate yourself and live in accordance with a philosophy that values authenticity over acquisition.
My role on this planet as I see it’s to encourage and encourage people to have less and live more. This is my passion and my commitment. By reading these articles every week, you’re an lively participant on this mission. You represent a change on this planet – a change of priorities and passions.
On this journey towards minimalism and purposeful living, I would like you to know that you simply are seen, appreciated and necessary.
You are greater than a comment or a message in my inbox, you’re an actual flesh and blood person sending me this message on the opposite side of the keyboard. And I read all of them.
