Marriage is a holy covenant created by God. He created men and girls to be married until death do them part. This will not be something to be taken frivolously. Every day we must bear in mind that we’re making a prosperous marriage that provides glory to God.
Being a committed spouse implies that we don’t allow our hearts, minds, or bodies to stray outside the covenant now we have made.
The Bible says in Hebrews 13:4 that marriage needs to be respected by all and the wedding bed kept clean, because God will judge the adulterer and all fornicators.
Unfortunately, these rights are disregarded at every turn in our current culture. The world wants us to consider that we will create our truth about marriage. But God created marriage laws to guard us. He wants us to have prosperous, committed marriages that reflect Him, which implies fidelity and solid commitment to one another.
Being in a committed marriage becomes an increasing number of difficult due to amount of pornography that’s presented in lots of points. Billboards, movies, TV shows, magazines and in fact the web. The enemy is having a tough day with plenty of inappropriate images infiltrating our minds.
This could make it especially difficult to avoid porn addiction. He is portrayed as normal and innocent when in point of fact he’s destroying lives and families.
Porn addiction is an epidemic in our country. The destructive effect on marriages is destructive and damaging.
