Netflix is finally cracking down on password sharing, and users aren’t comfortable with the brand new rules.
Netflix is cracking down on password sharing — forcing mainstream users so as to add sub-accounts in the event that they need to proceed sharing their access to the streaming platform with people outside of their household. The catch: you’ll be able to only add one with a basic subscription and two with a premium subscription, and so they cost an extra $7.99 per thirty days! Let’s just say this appears to be probably the most irritating way for consumers to squeeze more money out of users – in a last-ditch effort to enhance profit margins. And … Netflix subscribers aren’t comfortable. Some even say goodbye to the streaming giant.
Have you thought through all of the scenarios, Netflix?
ahhh. It’s happening within the US in any case. @netflix crashes over password sharing. Time for #CancelNetflix. It’s silly because I’m within the hospital, not at home with my family I’m sharing Netflix with. pic.twitter.com/LEJRYYpDGo

Can anyone or @netflix explain how this latest policy works when one partner travels away from home? When do families leave for holiday homes? When do children go on vacation to their grandparents?
Has anyone thought this through?https://t.co/fyHezGQtjG

They just don’t understand it…
Netflix: We’re beginning to charge for sharing passwords
Us: okay, then we’ll just cancel our subscriptions
Netflix: It was a mistake, we’re not going to do it

We don’t support criminality (but others do)
Banning Netflix from sharing passwords with the poor and struggling generation raised by Limewire, Napster and Bearshare is a daring move.

That’s it. We’re done.
Later, @netflix! I won’t pay the $8 ransom for sharing the password. You could have handled it significantly better. It’s been a fun 10 years, but I’ve had enough. It’s not me, it’s you.#netflix password pic.twitter.com/PRyhgePjxJ

In protest against Netflix’s password sharing ban, I’m leaving thumb drives throughout town with all the Netflix library accessible through an exe file
