Katie Holmes has been a beauty icon because the first time she appeared on screen as the most effective girl round the corner as Joey Potter in dream lake, and greater than 20 years later, its influence has not diminished one bit. In fact, her power of casual chic is just getting stronger, as evidenced by a recent photo of the star from “I woke up like this” wavy hair.
Holmes was spotted in her family’s New York backyard looking just like the textbook definition of casual chill on a hot summer day. It was worn by an actor expressive brunette her hair in perfectly disheveled, loose waves parted from her face and over one shoulder, as if she slept on wet hair and woke up with barely tousled hair. Or perhaps she jumped out of the pool, the ocean, or Dawson’s eponymous creek, got dressed, and let her hair dry into perfect curls on the headboard of the bed. How does does she do it? Speaking from experience, my wavy hair does NO kindly dry it without a little bit help, so Holmes will need to have some hair magic I do not find out about.
