Apparently, we hardcore Beetle Juice (1988) fans clamoring for more colourful gothic shenanigans – they’ve said the bio-exorcist’s name enough times that we finally get a well-deserved sequel. It might be the unbridled success of the stage musical version or the recent love interest of director Tim Burton’s Netflix adaptation The Addams Family, Wednesday, it’s driven Beetlejuice 2 in development. Anyway, we now have ours Handbooks for the recently deceased ready.
Beetlejuice 2 has reportedly began filming, meaning the sequel to the film will officially hit theaters. Currently, the discharge date is September 6, 2024. While we wait, the filmmakers (including Tim Burton back as director) are slowly releasing information in regards to the forged. Here’s who we all know will are available in Beetlejuice 2 yet:
Michael Keaton will reprise his role as Beetlejuice.
Of course you may’t have a sequel Beetle Juice without the lead actor reprising his role because the title character. It just would not be the identical. Thankfully, Michael Keaton is back to offer us all his dizzying chauvinistic goodness.
Winona Ryder returns as Lydia Deetz.
We all desired to be emo goth princess Lydia Deetz, right? Not only us? We get Monica Bellucci (Mafia mom) as The Beetlejuice Wife together with Willem Dafoe (Lantern) and Justin Theroux (Girl from the train) as currently unnamed characters.
Who would you prefer to include within the forged?
Because the news about Bellucci, Dafoe and Theroux got here days after other news Beetlejuice 2, it’s secure to assume that Warner Bros. is preparing for more details about castings. Who would you prefer to be in the brand new movie?
For now, there isn’t any word on whether the opposite original forged members – including Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis as predominant characters Adam and Barbara – will return.
