Musk’s reasoning was that counting on AI to perform seemingly easy tasks could, over time, create an environment where people forget learn how to operate the machines that AI enabled.
“Even a light reliance on AI/automation is dangerous to civilization if it goes thus far that we eventually forget how machines work,” Musk tweeted.
