Vampire survivors, one among 2022’s groundbreaking games, turns into an animated TV show. The show appears to be in very early stages of production (no author yet and will probably be looking around, Deadline reports), but I’m intrigued to see how the sport will probably be adapted right into a TV series.
There is not any real plot Vampire survivors. The goal of the sport is to live so long as possible against ever-increasing waves of monsters while upgrading various weapons and items until you turn out to be so incredibly powerful you can walk away from the sport and still survive. (Maybe it’s just how I play it.) There are also plenty of pretty lights and colours.
There is an official setting for the web version of the sport your Itch.io website, so perhaps the show will take inspiration from that: “In the yr 2021, within the Italian countryside, there lived an evil man named Bisconte Draculó, whose many evil magics created an evil world stuffed with hunger and suffering. Now it’s as much as the members of the Belpaese family to finish his reign of terror and convey good food back to the table.”
However, I should note that the Itch.io version of the sport is now available Very significantly outdated in comparison with the Steam version, which just received a second expansion. I would not be surprised if the settings presented there didn’t exactly apply to what the sport has turn out to be. If the would-be writers of the show need some inspiration, we have some ideas! And I hope the show’s creative team consults James Stephanie Sterling who did it wrote some funny lyrics for the sport.
