Destiny 2 Threadlings cheese is an infinite creepy-crawly nightmare

AND Destiny 2 Threadlings cheese is something out of nightmares, giving players access to dozens of fearsome Destiny 2 Strand-based crawlers directly to take down among the game’s hardest enemies. And here we thought that the Immortal is the scariest thing we could meet in an FPS game!

Initially shared via the Cheese Forever YouTube account, players can unleash an arachnid storm by first equipping Threadling grenades. Players must also equip the Generation Thread Fragment, which grants grenade energy when dealing damage to enemies, and Evolution Thread, which causes Threadlings to maneuver further and deal more damage. Cheese Forever also suggests adding Grenade Kickstart to your Gauntlets to regenerate grenades even faster.

Players should then throw their Threadling grenades at “special items”, which include ambient objects corresponding to electrical panel textures, Nezarec, Calus, and Tormenter dead bodies, Servitor, Shanks, and Harpy dead body parts, and more. Grenades that land on these objects multiply your Threadlings, not only doubling the variety of Anthropods, but in addition increasing the effectiveness of each Fragments.

If you might be Strand Empowered, the damage regeneration cycle grants unlimited Threadlings. Cheese Forever notes that spawning too many Threadlings can throw players out of their games, so pay attention to this if you happen to plan to check out cheese in any demanding activities.

The video below shows a player using infinite Theadlings to defeat Calus within the Destiny 2 Lightfall final boss fight. In the comments, Cheese notes that they use the Exotic Eye of Another World Warlock helmet and provided a 100 Discipline stat to further increase the grenade reload speed.

While the setup might not be practical in most combat situations, especially considering it may possibly knock Guardians out of the sport, it’s still fun to observe the ultimate boss of Lightfall fall prey to Threadling’s offspring.
