Considering how cute the mix of dark hair and blunt bangs is, there are shockingly few celebrities sporting them. There’s Zooey Deschanel, Dakota Johnson, Lilly Collins, Kerry Washington (sometimes), Anne Hathaway (on and off) – and that is it? But there’s an unexpected recent member to this little club: Cary Delevingne.
Usually on Team Blonde, Delevingne was spotted in New York on Monday looking not quite what she normally does. In addition to a dramatic black ensemble with a frilly peplum and daring red accessories in the shape of platforms, gloves and oversized sunglasses, she sported a hairstyle we have not seen before.
The model-turned-actor’s hair was a deep shade of dark brown; it extends beyond her shoulders in smooth sculpted waves and is topped with super blunt bangs that hover nearly an inch above her sunglasses.
Is this Delevingne’s recent signature style? Probably not. The look was created for her previously unannounced character in the brand new season american horror. The cameras caught her talking to actress and series regular Emma Roberts, whose own long blonde hair was actually still long and blonde.
