A recent study has found that Birmingham is home to the UK’s biggest horror movie buffs. Residents of this massive city love horror movies greater than some other region within the country. In fact, 26% of individuals called it their favorite genre.
A nationwide study, conducted by Showcase Cinemas, delved into the UK’s film fascinations. This is to have fun the spooky set of releases coming over the following few months.
To have fun a series of quirky movies, Insider members will probably be in screening theaters to observe two (or more!) horror movies from now until May 4pwill receive a reward of £5 to make use of on a future visit.
Horror fans will probably be of their element with movies like Scream VI, Renfield and Evil Dead Rise available to observe in April.
At the opposite end of the dimensions, to Birmingham, the study found Portsmouth to be home to the UK’s biggest ‘spooky cats’. Only 6% of those surveyed selected horror as their favorite genre. That’s lower than some other region within the country!
Jon Dixon, UK Marketing Director at Showcase Cinemas, said:
“Horror has all the time been an enormous hit in cinema because people adore it when their emotions are pushed to the limit. There are some amazing horror movies coming this yr, so we wanted to present something back to viewers who are suffering from fear.
“We’ll offer all Insider members who watch two or more horror movies by early May an additional £5 in rewards, meaning they will use that cash towards a ticket to a different horror movie, or perhaps save up for something else in the event that they need to get fed up fear for some time!”
To claim the reward, guests have to be members of the Insider program and watch at the least two participating horror movies before May 4p. Anyone who isn’t currently a member can register at no cost through Showcase website.
