Adultery is a biblical reason for divorce and as such a one who has remained faithful in marriage may remarry. Let me indicate that while adultery is grounds for divorce, it doesn’t mechanically mean that if there may be adultery in a wedding, it’s a step to be taken. Remember that God’s desire is for married couples to remain together. However, if adultery is something you’ll be able to’t take care of, when you determine to divorce due to it, you’ll be able to remarry.
3. Abuse
If you’re in an abusive relationship, you might have every right to go away that marriage as these are legitimate grounds for divorce. Violence is an abdication of marital responsibility and also you haven’t got to remain in this sort of relationship. If you divorce for these reasons, you’ll be able to apply for remarriage.
4. Other reasons
There are many other explanation why people divorce, but we have to be careful because divorce should only occur if there may be a legitimate, biblical reason. If there aren’t any biblical grounds for divorce, remarriage must be out of the query. Let me repeat what Paul said in 1 Corinthians.
To the married I give this command (not I, however the Lord): It is just not lawful for a wife to separate from her husband. But if she does, she must remain single or reconcile along with her husband. And a husband cannot divorce his wife” (1 Corinthians 7:10-11).
In these other situations, remarriage is just not an option, but reconciliation is. This commandment is why we must take marriage seriously and never take it flippantly.
ANDs Remarriage after divorce Adultery?
Is it possible that when you remarry after a divorce, you possibly can commit adultery? The answer is: it will depend on the explanation for the divorce. If the divorce was for biblical reasons, remarriage is just not adultery.
If not for biblical reasons, then it’s adultery because in God’s eyes remarriage is illegitimate. This could also be legal in a rustic, however it is just not sanctioned within the eyes of God. Since every situation is different, I need to watch out in making a general statement about a person marriage. True wisdom requires considering each situation individually to be able to make effective decisions.
