Destiny 2 Lost Sectors now have increased drop rates for solo players on Legendary and Master difficulty, in line with patch notes released by Bungie today. Destiny 2 Legendary Lost Sectors and Mastery Lost Sectors increases after a four-hour hiatus, during which Bungie also fixed a bug within the FPS game that caused some Guardians and their weapons to fail Destiny 2 turn out to be invisible.
The change to the Destiny 2 Lost Sector drop rate comes amid complaints that such actions now recommend a Power Level of 1830 for Legendary Lost Sectors and a Power Level of 1840 for Major Lost Sectors. From a relative perspective, this makes them much tougher than previous iterations. The Seasonal Power cap is 1850, giving players a maximum advantage of only ten over their enemies on Master difficulty. As a result, some players say they are not price completing because they provide minimal rewards and a low likelihood of an Exotic piece of kit.
For those unfamiliar with how Legendary Lost Sectors work, they’re a possibility for players to potentially acquire Exotic armor pieces they do not have already got, or higher stat versions of armor pieces they do have. The game’s Legendary and Master Lost Sector changes day by day with the day by day game reset and armor reward cycle between Exotic Head, Shoulders, Chest, Legs, and Class Armor.
However, with the introduction of Lightfall, players have suggested that the increased difficulty of Lost Sectors doesn’t guarantee poor rewards and little likelihood of probably earning an Exotic.
It seems that Bungie’s decision increasing the drop rate was a response to this criticism. All of this is said to Destiny 2 Lightfall’s difficulty issues. While activities within the Vanguard Ops playlist and patrols on Neomun have a better difficulty in comparison with their comparable predecessors, activities comparable to the Destiny 2 Root of Nightmares raid in competitive mode seem much easier.
Fortunately, changes to drop rates show that Bungie is a minimum of listening to player feedback on things like incentive rewards for higher difficulty activities. However, on condition that Bungie hasn’t revealed how much the drop rate has increased, players don’t have any way of knowing if these lost sectors are price their time without significant trial and error.
And while Lost Sector Exotics can still be hard to come back by, there are still loads of Exotics on the list of Destiny 2 Lightfall Exotics to chase after, just like the Destiny 2 Exotic Glaive Vexcalibur or the Destiny 2 Final Warning Strand Exotic Sidearm, which some imagine outstanding players in multiplayer is among the finest sidearms in the sport.
