It’s not only flares and jeans on jeans (although there’s loads of that too – especially for Billy Dunne and the remainder of The Six guys). Daisy, Camila and Karen’s outfits must be in our wardrobes, stat. While there will certainly be more “distant” gems to are available future episodes, these are a few of the very best outfits to rock the screen to this point.
Daisy cape, topless moment
Honestly, this whole outfit is iconic. Brown and gold suede shoes to match her shorts? Suede and fur in color blocks with no top? Why showcase your belly in today’s crop tops when you’ll be able to go completely naked? Riley Keough’s Daisy Jones wears a topless style that was popular in the course of the bra-burning era of Nineteen Seventies American hippie culture. It wasn’t just fur and tie-dye. An enormous trend within the hippie movement of the Nineteen Seventies was intense glitter. It is because of the thick embroidered material that the Daisy Jones jacket looks so lush and amazing within the shot above. It gives “I turned my grandma’s old couch right into a jacket” and I’m here for it. If someone’s sofas turn out to be mysteriously empty, you understand why.
Stage-ready Daisy tassels
Of course, take a look at Daisy’s stage outfits for real retro hits. Here, she’s wearing a stunning shiny top and a brief skirt with black bangs flowing down the lace hems. She has a flowing scarf on top which is a nod to a real singer who at the least partly the inspiration for Taylor Jenkins Reid’s novel: Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac. If you actually need to appear like an IRL scene, rock with a flowing layer of mesh and lace like this one.
