IN Metroid fusion, interstellar bounty hunter Samus Aran is attacked by Parasite X while exploring the mysterious planet SR388. Not only is that this organism deadly, it could mimic the skills of any creature it infects—including Samus herself! Rescued from the abyss by an infusion of Metroid DNA, Parasite X’s only natural predator, she soon discovers that the parasite has spread to a research station orbiting SR388. Weakened and out of options, Samus must do whatever it takes to destroy Threat X before it’s too late.
