The Xiaomi 13 Pro goes global

Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro today they debut all around the world, starting with its launch at Mobile World Congress. The Series 13 phones were announced in China late last yr, each with Leica-branded cameras and top-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets. Based on previous releases, these is not going to be released within the US, but will likely be available within the UK, Europe and other parts of Asia.

Given that we have known the phone’s specs since December, there’s nothing surprising about this, but here’s the summary: each are high-end phones, however the 13 Pro stands out with its 1-inch sensor borrowed from the Xiaomi 12S Ultra Wired Fast Charging and 120W.

Both feature a quick refresh rate 120Hz OLED – the 13 has a smaller 6.3-inch 1080p display and the 13 Pro has a 6.7-inch 1440p LTPO screen. Each unit is IP68 rated for water and mud resistance and supports 50W wireless charging. Did I mention they will not be coming to the US? It’s a number of fun because these are features we just don’t see within the premium midrange speakers sold here. We’re thrilled to death with a $700 phone with an IP64 rating and no wireless charging. Meanwhile, the remainder of the world gets This.

Anyway, for those who live in a rustic where the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro will likely be sold, leave us a comment and tell us for those who plan to select it up. While the Xiaomi 13 Pro costs 1299 euros, the Xiaomi 13 costs 999 euros. They will go on sale on March 8 through Xiaomi’s official retail channels.
