However, Twitter appears to be recovering from technical issues that prevented people from tweeting DM problemsand access to TweetDeck continues to be seemingly ongoing. Downdetector reports that the issues began around 4:30 p.m. ET, and the uninhibited ability to tweet back about an hour and a half later.

Tweets were visible throughout the partial outage, but few Edge staff members received a message that that they had “exceeded their day by day tweet limit” once they tried to post or retweet one other person’s post. Some Twitter users said they were in a position to get around this bug by scheduling tweets in the long run.
There are still problems with the service. Currently, I cannot reliably use chats or notifications, follow recent accounts, or use TweetDeck.
