Hope. This is what all of us need more of as of late, not only in our personal lives but in addition in our marriages. To hope is to want something to occur or to be true. So let me ask you one query: what do you desire to occur in your marriage? What do you desire to be true?
Today, I encourage every married couple to wish these life-giving, hope-filled prayers to a God who hears. Romans 15:13 says: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace while you trust in him, that chances are you’ll be filled with hope through the facility of the Holy Spirit.”
Trust in Him who, by the facility of His Spirit, can fill you with abundant hope. Turn to Him for the enjoyment and peace you seek. He will be trusted to refill your marriage with life-giving hope.
Here are five hopeful prayers in your marriage:

As we plan dates, getaways, and reconnection times, remind us of the hope we place in you – the hope for our future together. How Romans 5:5 He says: “Hope doesn’t put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” Thank you, Father, for uniting us in your love. Join us in perfect harmony and strengthen us for the journey ahead. In the sacred name of Jesus, amen.
2. Prayer for trust
Lord God, please renew our trust – first in you – then in one another. Remove all doubt, fear and unbelief from our marriage and help us lean on one another with confidence and strength. Rebuild those areas of our marriage which have been damaged by time or chipped by difficult circumstances. Forgive us our mistakes and help us forgive one another. Let our marriage be a faithful example of Your work in our lives – a piece of redemption, renewal and trust. In the valuable name of Jesus, amen.
