Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order considered by many to be a surprise hit. The single-player campaign featuring Jedi Cal Ketsis was a departure from EA’s usual suspects of multiplayer games. And for Respawn Entertainment, the team was still relatively young. Derived from the success of those titles, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is as a result of be released in 2023, and with it comes some latest stuff like latest combat stances and two-handed weapons.

“So much will depend on the enemy you encounter,” he said. “It’s useful to make use of certain forms of stances against certain forms of enemies, and the player has to figure that out.”
This could mean decapitating a stormtrooper with two sabers, which is never depicted on screen within the Star Wars universe.
The skills still apply
Asmussen confirms that is something you do not often see in film or television, saying, “He’s an unconventional Jedi and he has to do unconventional things. So something that will be welcome at the peak of the Jedi Order? Cal discovers that he’ll do whatever it takes.
Despite using more forceful tactics, there continues to be an emphasis on timing attacks and confronting with a great sense of technique to be victorious.
“It’s heavy; it’s meaty. But you may have to be very careful how you employ it since the time windows are longer with the blade,” Atmussen said. Also, Cal now has an ascending rope at his disposal, which is an indication that the sport is evolving not only when it comes to combat, but in addition when it comes to movement.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is scheduled to be released on March 17, 2023.
